Rick’s laid‑back, whimsical style has made him an audience favourite for more than thirty years.
He first learned his craft in small‑town bar rooms across Canada, and over the decades has shaped that experience into a (mostly) clean act that surprises and delights. His material ranges from fatherhood and aging to camping misadventures, with a healthy dose of current events always mixed in.
His résumé is too long to list in full, but career highlights include appearances at major festivals such as Just for Laughs, Winnipeg, Halifax, Saint John NB, Cracking Up the Capital, and the Toronto People’s Comedy Festival.
Television credits include CTV’s Comedy Now!, Comedy at Club 54 (twice), Citytv, Open Mike with Mike Bullard, and multiple CBC festival specials.
He has also been featured on CBC Radio programs including The Debaters, Madly Off in All Directions, and Laugh Out Loud.
Currently, you can catch Rick on the Old Enough to Know Better tour, occasionally with The Great Canadian Comedy Caravan, and from time to time at Yuk Yuk’s Ottawa.
